At present the activity of Girona and Reus airports depends heavily on low-cost carrier Ryanair, which occupies 71% of users of Reus and up to 91% of air traffic at the airport of Girona.
Since public institutions are seeking alternatives to resolve this situation, particularly in Tarragona is negotiating with three Russian tour operators, who were already working in the area, in the lodging sector procurement, but did not operate flights.
