The Spanish water polo has been drawn in Group A of the next World Championship in Shanghai, to be held from 16 to 31 July as Hungary, Kazakhstan, Montenegro will be the first opponents of the national team, while the team women will face Brazil, Greece and Russia.

The Spanish team, the current runner-up, none at all easy in Group A, and to be face to face with Hungary, Olympic champion and one of the favorites. In addition, Montenegro is always a tough team and Kazakhstan presented as the most affordable of the three.
For its part, the women's team, facing the Asian tournament in order to pass the first stage will be in Group C with Brazil, Greece and Russia.
