Air China will operate four weekly flights between Budapest and Beijing
Air China will fly four times a week between Budapest and Beijing from May 1, according to the Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, with stopovers from China to Hungary and direct the Asian giant to country in Eastern Europe.

The A330-200 model will be responsible for the route, with capacity for 227 passengers and with a stopover in Minsk and Belarus from Beijing to Budapest, while Budapest will direct flight to Beijing.
Szijjarto called "achievement" for Hungary this decision, being an "opening to the East" this new route, as recorded by the Chinese news agency, 'Xinhua'.
The new route replaces the Hainan Airlines, which operated from 2004-2012, and stopped paying servico after the fall of the Hungarian national airline Malev.
Hungarian exports to China totaled 2.200 million (2.069 million euros) last year, up 8% from the previous year, according Szijjarto, who totaled 90,000 Chinese tourists to the country.
Air China has more than 500 aircraft and 326 routes, and in 2013 carried 78 million passengers and generate 15,000 million dollars (14.106 million euros) in the national economy.
On January 12, Air China announced direct flights to Cuba from September 28, with stops in Montreal for refueling and as a strategy of expansion in the Caribbean.
