The local council of Homrogd, northeastern Hungary, has awarded Ezentis modernizing its system for wastewater treatment for 1.2 million €. The project, funded by the European Union, including the construction of the piping network and the wastewater treatment plant. The main pipeline will be 4.6 km. length and along the new network will also include six stations. The new treatment plant to be built on the outskirts of the town will have a capacity of 70 m3/day and will serve about 1,000 people. The contract includes management for six months, after which it is transferred to the local authority for water management in the locality.
This new award joins a long list of references in the country where the company is firmly established and follows the lines of its strategic plan, one of whose pillars is internationalization. The main references in Hungary include both water infrastructure as a regulating reservoir level Tisza River floods in the area of Hany-Tiszasüly as road infrastructure as a stretch of highway M-43 in the area of Szeged, a variant of Road 5705 in the town of Villányi or a ring that borders the towns of Komoro Fényeslitke and Zahony in the region.
