Budapest, August 8, 2011 (EFE) .- El Festival de la Isla, "Sziget Fesztivál," one of the biggest summer festivals in Europe, starts today in Budapest, where he expects the performance of the singer Prince and Spanish group Ojos de Brujo, who publicly dismissed this season.
Over the last seven days, the festival will go through more than 350,000 people to see performances by bands like Pulp, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, Kate Nash, Thirty Seconds To Mars and Kasabian, among many others, according to organizers.
In the world music scene, performing on Wednesday, the Spanish group Ojos de Brujo, whose concert in Budapest is one of the last, as the band announced its dissolution in July.
Spanish and Latin American presence, as every year, it will be important as well, viewers come from all over the continent will see the Shica or Albadulake Spanish circus group.
Performance is also expected electrotango group Gotan Project, AfroCubism, a project of Eliades Ochoa and Colombian Choc Quib Town.
The "Sziget" held every summer since 1993 in the Isle of Óbuda Gunners neighborhood of Budapest, in an area of 67 hectares, dedicated space and scenarios to the most different arts and artists, from jazz to rock, from for theater and dance.

The festival is very popular among young Europeans as 170 euros for a ticket to receive a seven-day event, which offers more than 200 shows per day on 52 stages, and artists coming from 41 countries worldwide recall organizers.
